CYP Today and Beyond
The CYP Crew is a group that is full of energy and talent. I expect that they will make the practice of social justice a fun thing to experience for other youth. Last year was a blast and this year is gonna top that NO QUESTION.
Today we talked about CYP's potential impact on our city. We currently have five of the eight youth leaders that we will need for the core group and we plan to find other youth who would fill in those three spots so we will have to do some recruiting in the next two weeks.
The kids were very excited about developing their own activist campaign and I can't wait to see what they come up with. We talked about accommodating the schedule of working high school seniors and juniors as well as a need to fix up our school buildings.
