On election day I was at home because I felt like being home. I had some house work to get done. After facing numb chilling coldness at the Obama rally, I was not in the mood for volunteering. I sorry that if I broke any hearts from not showing up. That night on election day I was watching the live poll results on CNN, MSNBC, and FOXNEWS. At first McCain was in the league in electoral votes. I felt kind of worried. Then Obama was in the league in electoral votes and also the popular votes. Finally Obama was collecting electoral and popular votes. My final feeling was happiness. History was made, we have the first African American president. I did think that this day was going to happen. I will miss this election, John McCain with his stiff arms, Sarah Palin on foreign policy, and Joe the Plumber.
